Hi, everyone as you may have read in my review I have now been on healthy mummy for a while now and I haft to say that the results are good. Do not get me wrong my first week was a little tough. Starting a new fitness program is always difficult but Holly accommodates for that by having beginner and intermediate workouts. However, I haft to say short intense workouts are the way to go.
First thing in the morning, I start my workout and about 15-30 minutes later, I have finished and believe me it feels like I have done an hours work out. I got to a point were I craved exercise, I know it sounds weird but it is true the more I followed the program the more positive I felt in life. Yes, I know I sound a bit corny, you could only understand by following such things in life.
Before I started the program, I was a little depressed with everything. For instance, looking after a little one is hard, and two little ones is even harder, do not get me wrong I love my kids so much but sometimes we need a little mummy time to relax. You probably wonder how I fit in my program with two little ones to look after. Answer is easy the program takes only 15-30 min a day. I would get up feed my girls, change there nappies, and I would than place them in the lounge room near me to play while I do my work out. Before I knew it I had finished my work out, and my girls were happy and still playing. It is than I thought to my self this just might work out for me after all.
Food was my next challenge; regularly eating take out food was not uncommon for my family, as it was easy. I found that the meals that I prepared from Holly’s guide to fast and easy meals, not only made it easy but we also all enjoyed the different verities of food. Now four weeks into this program I not only feel better, I eat more regularly with smaller quantities of food.
My husband has been noticing the differences in my moods and my stamina, he has also commented on how good I look lately. There are day’s were you do not feel like doing anything at all. I have had them and I found the only way to overcome that is to do an even shorter workout, around 15 min and than it is done, and you can get on with your day. Believe me you will feel better for it.
